Stefano Bellotti
Sport: Kayak surf

Biographie: My first time kayaking was with my father in the river Ardeche at the age of 4. Later on I took part at many lessons, becoming instructor as soon as I became 18. My love for this sport grew up thanks to my father and my teacher Vladimiro Farina.
After a period during which I played rugby in Italian top series in the Gran Parma team, having less time to practice kayak, the love for the sea and the water sport made me go back on my steps.
I started playing kayakpolo in 2004 and in a few years I won the Italian major championship with Pro Scogli Chiavari. Meanwhile I participated to the sessions to become wildwater guide with Francesco Salvato and this is probably the step that made me improve the most.
In 2010 I discovered kayaksurf thanks to Fabrizio Rombi and Walter Cecchinelli.
My plans are to participate at the Worlds of Waveski in Portugal in August and in September at the Kayaksurf worlds in USA and, last but not least, the first Italian kayaksurf Championship that I’m organizing with Surfactivity.

Biographie: Made up of united members, the team’s objective is to excel itself physically and mentally on the leading international events. The team is made up of 8 athletes from different backgrounds, with complementary specificities. The sharing of knowledge and competence is one of their assets as they need to go from mountain biking to kayaking, trekking and canyoning over the course of several days for each event, in the heart of the countryside.
David Arnaud
Sport: High-river, expés, freestyle

Biographie: As a professional kayakist, I used to compete in the Kayak freestyle French team and now dedicate my time to traveling, whitewater kayaking and picturing. As a cameraman/director, this enables me to associate my two passions: kayak and video. I have made DVDs such as In-Flux, Méthode Kayak Freestyle, Torrents Alpestres 1 & 2... and many short video clips that can be viewed on my Web site. I plan to make a second film, in the same vein as In-Flux, based on the places I’ve been to during the last months. But I need to find time to do this ! Biographie: After getting in to kayaking about 10 years ago it was no doubt how i would spend my days during spring, summer and autumn. I love kayaking of any kind, and being brought up competing in different sports, I'm also a fan of racing down the rivers. When I don't kayak I study sociology, run a (very)small videoproduction company and in winters I ski.

Mathieu Babarit

Biographie: Boardsports enthusiast since I was 10, I discovered waveski when I was 12 and never drop it since then. Thanks to this sport, I’ve been able to discover beautiful places all around the planet (Australia, South Africa, New-Zealand, California, Brazil, Indonesia…) and to meet hospitable people. Competition is part of me and enables me to go beyond limits the way I would probably never have outside competition. Today, I share my experience through my school, ‘Octopus multiglisse’.
